Relaxed, baby-led sessions in a cosy indoor setting. Time is flexible to allow for feeding, cuddles and changes, and parents and siblings are welcome at no extra cost.
Your baby will only be this small for a couple of weeks. A newborn session preserves the tiny fingers, the sleepy curls and the way they fit along your forearm, before it all changes.

how it works

When to book
Ideally while you are still pregnant, so we can pencil in a date around your due window. Newborn sessions are loveliest in the first couple of weeks, but slightly older babies photograph beautifully too.

Where it happens
In a cosy indoor setting, either my home studio near Balmedie or your own home if you would rather stay put. I bring wraps, blankets and props with me.

On the day
The session is completely baby-led. We pause for feeds, cuddles and changes as often as your little one needs, so please never worry about the clock. Parents and siblings are always welcome in the photos at no extra cost.
Bump to Baby, £250. The story starts before they arrive. Bump to Baby pairs a maternity session with a newborn session and saves you money on booking both.

What if my baby cries the whole time?
Then we stop, have a cuddle and a feed, and try again. Time is flexible for exactly this reason. Babies set the pace, not me.
Do we need to bring anything?
Just your baby, a spare outfit or two and whatever keeps you comfortable. I have wraps, blankets and props covered.
Can siblings and parents be in the photos?
Please do. Some of my favourite photos are big sisters and brothers meeting the new arrival. There is no extra charge.
