My name is Nicole Wright
I discovered my passion for photography when my daughter was born. I wanted to capture every moment of her existence, so I started investing in a professional camera and gear and learned how to create those photographs at home.
What began at home grew into Right Moments. Today I photograph newborns, bumps, families and celebrations across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, from my home near Balmedie beach, with its dunes and enormous skies right on the doorstep.
I want to give families perfect captures of their present moments, to cherish and remember forever. Because I am a mum first, sessions run at your family’s pace. Feeds, naps, wobbles and all.
Say helloPhotography is like poetry, only visual. There are so many stories and meanings one picture can portray. It all depends on who is looking at the photo, and whether they are paying enough attention.

Nicole photographed our daughter at ten days old. She was so gentle and patient, letting us stop for feeds and cuddles whenever we needed. The photos made me cry, in the best way.
We did our family shoot on Balmedie beach and the kids had the best time. The photos look relaxed and happy because that is exactly how it felt.
I was nervous about a maternity shoot but Nicole put me at ease straight away, and her dresses are beautiful. I felt lovely all afternoon.
